Bands, and gears
One button,
Labeled restart,
Taken together,
All of his parts
Save one, 

Stoutly standing,
Deeply breathing,
Wings spreading,
“There he goes”,
Your heart says,
“Oh, he’s leaving” 

Push, and look
He walks, liftoff
He marches, takeoff
There he goes, all alone
Off to find his missing heart 

He swam and walked,
Flew, scernery passed
time, tick tocked 
Men dug beneath mountains
Dirty children washed in
Urban water fountains 

Round he flew,

Hunger, madness,
Mourning sadness,
Mockingbird murder,
Shells and shrapnel

No sense, he said
Houla massacre
Made by men?
Led by men,
Flesh and bone
Heart and all
The children died
Saved by none 

He found a land
Where no men walked,
He rested then
He laid down and
Cursed the heart

Men in passions,
Wicked palace,
Fear, anger
Tears, pitter patter
Bitterness
Mirthless laughter 

Hand resting,
Empty chest,
Heartless,
He asked,
“Is naught greater,
Greater than the heart?” 

The wind whispered,
The men have proven
That indeed,
Naught is greater
Than the wicked heart 

Have you ever felt in awe of someone, yet so helpless to them? Tis dangerous territory.
